And we’re off again. I almost postponed ‘getting healthy’ for another week because I am out of town this week and won’t be able to get into my schedule. However, I will be going out of town sooner or later so might as well get it going. I ate mediocre today, I would say although, both lunch and dinner consisted of variations on salad…too big and too much dressing but oh well…could’ve been much worse.
I did go run today, in my new pair of running specific New Balance shoes under the assumption that it wouldn’t make a lick of difference. Well….I was surprisingly wrong and my feet, which normally cramp up to the point where i have to stop, didn’t cramp hardly at all, which is a MAJOR difference. However, with that said, my body got super pissed off at me and said, "What’s this? No pain, oh your dead fat man." And my calves starting cramping to high hell, which sucked, and soon my lower back. But hey, my feet have been hurting for years now so I’ll take it. Walked/ran 1.5 miles on a track close to the hotel here and I could definitely tell how out of shape I am in.
Also went to the grocery store and got some "food good" for the week instead of getting out for every meal. That, and drinking more water I think I’m off to a good start.
