Over the past couple of months I’ve been trying to figure out how to focus this blog. I feel like my blog does not have a real distinct vision and I’d like to improve that. At this point, I pretty much blog about whatever, from tech to gastric bypass to web to personal experiences. It’s all over the place.
We blog at work about business-related stuff but it’s geared towards informational and educating. But I rather use this blog as a platform to talk about what’s wrong in the banking industry. Where banks and their vendors don’t get the web, and are still stuck in the traditional business models that will inevitably need to be changed. Ranting about that on my company blog might be misconstrued as our companies opinions and not just my own.
So although I will probably still include the random tech review or update of my latest weight loss stories, I want to spend more time on professional topics. I want to focus in on issues that discuss how bankers can use the web to their banks benefit.
