So a couple of weeks ago I finally was able to get back into soccer since my surgery which I love to play. The whole past week I watched the weather reports to ensure that we were going to get to play. There was supposed to be rain but you never know with this Texas weather. It came Friday and despite the 60% chance of rain it held off and we were going to get to play! I was stoked! So I got ready, headed to the fields early to be able to warm-up and such. I pulled in to the fields, locked the door, got out of my truck, and shut the door with authority when I realize, I JUST LOCKED MY KEYS IN MY CAR!
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
I had my cleats, shinguards, and everything else locked in the truck that I needed to play with. Yeah. Brad = Dummy.
I called the locksmith but he didn’t get there until 10-15 minutes before the end of the game (they said 45 minutes, yeah right). Thankfully, a friend of mine allowed me to use his cleats and shinguards to play a bit of the 2nd half.
After the game, I went straight to Home Depot and got copies of my key and put on a hide-a-key on my truck. Maybe I should give a key to our team captain, too, eh?
Anyways, thought everyone would appreciate a good ole stupid move, there you go.
