Maybe I can add some helpful hints about GoToMeeting, since this is what we use here:

Always check first that the meeting you are setting up does not conflict with a meeting that has already been scheduled. The way we use GTM here can cause 'unpredictable results'.

When you set up the meeting, use GTM Audio Services and provide only conference call capabilities. VOIP works well but the attendees need a head set or an echo can occur.

When an attendee has a question that makes you open something unplanned, PAUSE the screen. The screen freezes for the attendee and you can go rummage around looking for what you need, like a stealth.

If you start the scheduled meeting from the GTM Web site, you will not have to minimize the GTM window. This helps because you can continue to watch people sign on and Chat. But the attendees do not see a big block on their screen. This is not possible when you start the meeting from your PC, for some reason.

I use Adobe Connect Now which includes screen share, chat, video and some other cool features.

We started using Adobe Connect back in the Macromedia Breeze days but the Flash was really slow and got pricey quick. If we keep doing more and more webinars, might be worth another look again.

So curiousity got the best of me and I looked in to our old Connect account. Note to Mac peeps, it doesn't like Firefox much, had to use Safari. Just FYI!
