Biography

Brad Garland is CEO of The Garland Group, a software & consulting firm, which splits time between developing a social knowledge platform and conducting security/compliance reviews. They have more than 70 clients throughout the country.

Brad’s passions are the Web and challenging the status quo by exploring new, innovative ways of engaging with next generation customers. He speaks across the country about the ways of the Web and how the Internet is fundamentally changing businesses in all industries. Some of his topics include understanding Gen Y, online communities, and working in an online world.

He’s been published in magazines and featured in newspapers as a Gen Y entrepreneur helping to shake up the industry. Brad is also the founder of Banktastic.com, a social news and networking site for FI’s and organizations. Lastly, and most importantly, his loves are his family, soccer, and the his beloved Dallas Cowboys.
